Carey, Harry, Jr. (b 1921)
Not at all like his father in looks, or in the prominence of his film roles. Nevertheless, he appeared in some of the finest Westerns of the late 40s and 50s, including most of John Ford's from 3 Qodfathers onward. His ginger hair and fair complexion gave him boyish looks, which were often exploited in his earliest roles such as the impetuous Brad in The Searchers. However, he was soon playing character parts, including, at a relatively young age, old-timers.?
