Carson, Sunset (b 1925)

?Sunset CarsonActor. If there are cowboys in Heaven, they will look like Sunset Carson. He was six and a half feet tall, wavy-haired and impossibly handsome. His uniform was tailor-made and freshly laun?dered, his gun decorated, his expensive belt loaded with a dozen brightly burnished shells. But before the studios remodelled him, he had been a rodeo champion, and through the 40s he rode gallantly through some 20 minor Westerns. After that came two brief television series, and a return to the Wild West shows. (Note: Carson's Rt'o Qrande of 1949 is not the John Ford film of a year later.)?
